I call it the FLASHPOINT because it's an extremely difficult moment where a decision must be made...and it's never easy.
This is where we as an investors have an opportunity to show our compassion and talent as resourceful real estate professionals (I call myself a Senior Transition Specialist by the way).
We can truly help these families during one of the most stressful times of their lives. We can be the solution to their problem. We can make a difference.
I realized that one of these deals was a referral from a friend who happened to be a placement agent (a professional in senior living).
It hit me.
I could put my entire energy into building relationships with senior living professionals instead of focusing on directly finding the sellers.
...done with the restless night...done with the overly competitive market...done feeling empty inside...It was time to make a difference.
After further discussions with that friend, I discovered that the senior living industry WANTED to provide me with referrals whenever seniors needed to move into long term care.
Why??
Because it helped their business...AND it helped the families during a difficult time.
The industry CRAVES more real estate professionals who are equipped with the skills to help these families.
After that realization...I went all in.
That's it. But here's the concept that really brought everything together.
